The IRC in Atlanta’s Microenterprise Development (MED) program provides financial coaching, lending services and training and technical assistance to refugees—both aspiring entrepreneurs and existing business owners—prioritizing individuals who have been in the United States for less than five years.
The mission of the Women’s Entrepreneur Empowerment Series is to provide a safe and comfortable platform for aspiring and existing refugee and immigrant women entrepreneurs to grow and develop. Through bi-monthly sessions, we aim to foster empowerment, cultivate essential business skills, facilitate meaningful networking opportunities, provide access to vital resources, and advocate for a more inclusive and aware business ecosystem.
We are looking for 2-3 women volunteers to assist with preparation, planning, and instructing of these workshops with support and guidance from MED team staff members.
